“For Jesus had commanded the evil spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into the solitary places.” Luke 8:29
What happens when you’re alone?
Does your spirit worship God and enjoy his presence? Or, does Satan seize the opportunity to deceive you? When you have time to yourself, what do you think about? Do you replay harsh interactions with others, making judgemental assumptions, or, do you praise God as you recount your blessings?
What do you choose to view on a screen, or listen to on the radio?
We each choose what happens when we as individuals are in those solitary places. The solitude might be physical, emotional, or spiritual.
Yet, God can be glorified through any of it.
And, Satan is fighting for every piece of it.
What will you choose?
